A 6-hour qualifying swim (solo or a known event) needs to be completed before attempting the Derwent River Big Swim. Proof of qualifying swim is required upon request.
Usual swimming season on Derwent is between December and April. Remember, you don’t need to follow “the norms” - if you are keen to swim in July, we sure can make that happen.
